Standard paint products, when used on acoustic tile ceilings, will harm the acoustic performance of the tiles, making the room louder. In addition, paint destroys the critical fire retardation values that are built into acoustic tiles at the factory, thus creating a hazardous environment.
Calabash specially formulated RECOAT product is designed to provide a crisp, clean, newly painted look while still retaining all acoustic and fire retardation values.
